Making Your Own Flower Essences

Making a flower essence is really quite simple. Flower essences are different from herbal preparations in that they are actually homeopathics. They are so dilute all that is left is an impression or frequency of the flower.
Choose a sunny day. You will need a very clean clear glass bowl that has been rinsed carefully to remove all traces of soap. Partly fill it with purified water. Bring a pair of scissors. Tweezers might be needed.
Unless you are familiar with wild plants I would suggest you start in your herb garden. Find something in flower. You are now going to have a very brief conversation with that plant. Yes, your body knows how to do it. You will ask questions and receive responses just as you would with a person. See insight into the human psyche. Ask the plant for permission to pick its flower. while you use the soft tissue response. If you feel a response then proceed. If you do not move on to another plant. Get permission and also ask how many flowers would be required and which flowers should be cut. Usually I find that one flower is enough since such a small quantity is made for personal use.
When you have permission, without touching the flower with your fingers, snip it off with the scissors and let it fall into the bowl of water. Some have said you need to pull the petals apart with tweezers but I don't bother. Let the bowl now sit in the sun for from 3-5 hours to energize it. When done fill a new dropper bottle to about 40% with the energized water. Top it off with brandy. This is your stock bottle. Label it with the flower name and year.
From your stock bottle you can now make your flower essence preparations. Shake it vigorously. From it take only 2 drops and put them into another dropper bottle. Pour a little brandy or alcohol into the bottom (about 10%). Fill the rest of the bottle with purified water. Done.
Test yourself with your new preparation. If your body responds, use it. Flower essences are very helpful to bring emotions to a state of peace. They also create physical changes that can be easily demonstrated (come to my class). They can create dramatic improvements in behaviour with children.
